PROJECT SUMMARY
The project is aimed at providing psychosocial support to the homeless, supervisory support to shelter workers and the implementation of an advocacy campaign in cities that do not provide services for the homeless or provide them in insufficient capacity.
PROJECT AIMS
- Strengthening the personal capacities and skills of the hidden homeless for successful social integration
- Empowerment of the shelter/lodge staff to deal with problematic situations in direct work with beneficiaries through supervisory support
- Advocating for the initiation and improvement of care services for the homeless
PROJECT ACTIVITES
- Project team meeting
- Printing of promotional materials
- Creating a manual for starting and improving services for the homeless
- Consultation meetings with the partner organization
- Preparation of content and elaboration of the implementation plan of support workshops for the homeless
- Implementation of support workshops for the homeless
- Supervisory support for shelter/lodging staff
- Preparation and organization of advocacy panels
- Implementation of advocacy forums in 6 cities (Čakovec, Koprivnica, Gospić, Slavonski brod, Osijek and Zadar)
- Implementation of support center activities
- Final conference of the project in Zagreb
- Dissemination of project results
