On January 25, 2023, the third psychosocial support session for homeless people was organized with the theme “Meaning and purpose of existence”, and three beneficiaries attended.
The goals of this workshop were:
- recognize that life always has meaning
- acquire the skills of personal constructive functioning
- learn skills and techniques important for setting goals.
Through the logotherapy-led conversation in this workshop, an effort was made through the technique of dereflection and paradoxical intentions to help the participants of this workshop illuminate the determined space in which they are, but also the free space they have, from which they can build some new values and set new constructive goals that they learned to set through tasks obtained in advance. This workshop tried to stimulate the recognition of the purpose of one’s own existence and how their life, regardless of the social status they belong to, always has meaning.
The project “An innovative model of social inclusion of the homeless, empowering experts and strengthening the capacity of the Croatian network for the homeless” is financed by the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy.
