On April 3, 2023 the opening conference of the project “Strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations in the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights in Croatia” was held.
The opening conference went under topic “Challenges of implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights in Croatia” and the project overall, as the results of the project so far were presented. By results we mean the methodology of monitoring the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights (EPSR), the results of the conducted empirical research, the Profile of the Croatian Social State and the Social scoreboard created by CERANEO through the project.
As part of the conference the panel discussion under topic “Achievements of EPSR implementation in Croatia” was successfully gone. The panelists were: Gojko Bežovan, full professor, Zdenko Babić, full professor, Marija Halić, pedagogue and Matija Kroflin, economist.
Through a panel discussion, stakeholders from different sectors discussed the implementation of certain areas of the EPSR in Croatia.
Strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations in the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights in Croatia project benefits from a grant under the Active Citizens Fund from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, through the EEA Grant.
