Two- days supervision workshop for the support of experts working with homeless people was held on the 27th and 31st of May 2022. Acitivity was held as a part of project “Innovative model of social inclusion of the homeless, empowerment of experts and capacity building of the Croatian network for the homeless“.
The workshops enabled experts to exchange experience and knowledge, improve their competencies and gain new insight into different situations. Workshop provided an opportunity to relieve and support professionals. It also raised awareness of the importance of the mental health of people working in the stressful environment.
The workshop was held by Olja Družić Ljubotina, Ph.D. – associate professor at the Social Work Study Centre of the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, who has extensive experience in supervising experts who are in direct contact with people living in poverty and homelessness.
The project is financed by the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy.
