We are pleased to invite you to the final conference of the three-year program “An innovative model of social inclusion of the homeless, empowering experts and strengthening the capacity of the Croatian network for the homeless”. The final conference is due to take place in ALGEBRA, Gradišćanska ul. 24, lecture hall B4 Faust Vrančić (ground floor) on July 19 from 12:00 p.m.
We would like to share with you the results of our three-year work with the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless. By showing the documentary reportage “Undocumented”, where the camera enters directly into the inadequate, dangerous and abandoned places where our fellow citizens live, we want to once again raise awareness of the importance of the ETHOS typology of homelessness and housing exclusion, together with systematic action in the fight against poverty and social exclusion. Some of the future policy areas in combating poverty and social exclusion are plan for the development of a social housing policy framework, providing continuous supervision of experts working with people with experience in homelessness and establishing mentorship services for that population. In each of these areas, we will have an opportunity to hear what our speakers, with many years of practice and research, have to say on this subject providing time for a discussion and exchange of views.
