On the 9th of July 2019, the final conference of the project “Reactivation and integration of marginalized youth – NEET into the labor market – RIM” was held at the Social Work Study Centre.
Main topic of the conference was “How to respond to the challenges of integration and reactivation of young people in NEET status?”, during which we presented an overview of project activities and research conducted with young people in NEET status, experts who work with young people and employers. The event brought together experts from the system of education, social welfare, non-governmental organizations and representatives of partner organizations on the Project.
Neda Novosel from CERANEO gave the introductory presentation. She explained to the attendees the achieved goals of the project. The workshop according to the ENTRE-YOU model, organized for young people in NEET status, and the satisfaction expressed by the participants through the evaluation, were especially highlighted. Other speakers at the conference were Gordana Berc, Ph.D. and Marijana Majdak, Ph.D. who presented results of their research with young people in NEET status.
