The initial conference of the project „And where are you? Reactivation and Reintegration of Inactive Youth in NEET Status“ was held on the 27th of October 2021. The conference was held in HUB385, Street of Franje Petračića 6, Zagreb. The representatives of CERANEO, Sara Dželalija and Ana Zadelj, presented the project to different profiles of experts.
The conference was attended by various interested stakeholders. Some of them are representatives of partner organizations, civil society organizations, representatives of the academic community, experts employed in the Centers for Social Welfare, the Croatian Employment Service, the City Office for Social Protection and many others.
The conference was also attended by lecturers with knowledge and experience in the field of the NEET population. We especially highlight Full Professor- Gordana Berc,Ph.D. Head of the Study Center of Social Work, who gave a welcome speech and gave an introductory speech about the NEET population. Full professor Gojko Bežovan, Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, Social Work Study Centre held a lecture on the connection between the Action Plan of the European Pillar of Social Rights and the NEET population. He also talked about the importance of cooperation between social welfare centers, employment offices and educational institutions.
