CERANEO organised study visit to Rijeka’s NGOs Oaza, Terra and Ruže St. Franjo working with homeless people for the students of the graduate study of social policy at the Social Work Study Centre, University of Zagreb. Students had the opportunity to learn about the examples of good practice of the mentioned associations. They also had the opportunity to see an innovative model of temporary care for socially vulnerable citizens – accommodation for people of the City of Rijeka (beneficiaries of the guaranteed minimum compensation at the Center for Social Welfare Rijeka).
The study trip to Rijeka is part of the three-year project “Innovative model of social inclusion of the homeless, empowering experts and strengthening the capacity of the Croatian network for the homeless“.
The project is financed by the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy.
